Breast cancer remains a significant global health challenge, affecting millions of individuals and families worldwide. Early detection through regular screenings and awareness campaigns is crucial for improving survival rates and outcomes. Hungry Howie's has been a staunch supporter of breast cancer awareness for over a decade. Each October, they partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and launch the "Love, Hope, and Pizza" campaign to raise funds and awareness.

After 13 years of running the campaign, we needed to infuse new energy and new voices to the  “Love, Hope and Pizza” campaign.

What We Did

To invigorate the campaign in its 13th year we leveraged social media influencers on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. We tapped real cancer survivors and activists to champion new conversations and breast exams.

The Influencers and the Content

Hungry Howie's collaborated with 6 influencers known for their reach and influence on TikTok and Instagram. These influencers were tasked with creating authentic and impactful content focused on early breast cancer detection, emphasizing the importance of regular screenings and self-exams.

How did we do?

Through this campaign, Hungry Howies raised over $500,000 for cancer research. In addition, over 120 women sought additional resources, took the pledge and scheduled their screening.

If even one life is saved by early detection, we are proud of our impact and efforts toward this much needed cause.
