Rebuild’s Ultimate Guide to the Holidays in the D

This holiday season, Rebuild Group has a gift for you: a list of 10 awesome, under-the-radar events happening in Detroit this month.

Detroit is buzzing with so much activity these days that it’s hard to know what’s even being offered, much less experience it all. That’s where Rebuild comes in. We scoured the city for events that you may not – but definitely should – know about. We bet some will even become your new holiday-time traditions.

You may be wondering why we care about what’s on your calendar. It’s because Detroit is once again living up to its legacy as a hub of innovation and creativity in every realm, from art to food to mixology, and we want to share the spirit. We want to make sure you get the chance to tour the city’s museums for free during Noel Nights, or to snag that perfect handmade gift made by a local artist at the first-ever Eastern Holiday Market. The events we’re highlighting range from family-friendly (the Woodward Wonderland show, which features Motown takes on Christmas songs) to adults-only (Santarchy, a Santa-themed bar crawl). Wherever you go, there will be lots of good cheer — and maybe even some hot cocoa.

To make sure you’re up on everything that’s happening around town, we’ve created a webpage that lays out what’s going on and when, Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for additional updates on the events.

So if your December is looking sparse, visit our webpage for ideas on how to fill your days and nights with fun. We hope you’ll attend one or two events and experience the holiday vibes, Detroit-style.. Get out there, create traditions, and make some memories! Happy holidays from everyone at Rebuild Group.
